Po! Ta! Toes!

I was hoping my potato plants would make it far enough to where they would start to flower, but I don't think they had enough room to keep growing. Once the leaves started getting yellow I decided it was time to go in and get em.

Lookie!! The very first potatoes I've ever grown. So pink!!

This was the biggest one I had, perfect little yeller feller.

Here are some nasty remnants of one of the six the potato cuttings that started my plants off. I was surprised it was still recognizable. It was pretty rotten on the other side. Oh biology, you're weird.

I can't wait to eat you, little potato harvest.

So the potatoes actually mark the last of my Planter Shamanter bounty, and I guess the end of the Planter Shmanter project. Now I have to come up with something else to grow on the balcony. Maybe I'll go easy on myself and just do some flowers...
