Easiest DIY Coasters Ever

Remember these tiles I picked up at the RE Store a few months ago? I finally got around to giving them a purpose.

I grabbed a cheap little roll of self adhering cork (on sale for $2).

Next I traced around the tiles and cut the cork inside the line about 1/16 of an inch so there wouldn't be any accidental cork edges peeking out the sides. Then I peeled off the backing...

...and slapped it on the tile.

Easy! I love that they look like they were someone's glaze tests, like someone was trying to figure out just the right modern looking leaf print to draw on them. They are super bright and fun and different, and now they are actually functional too.
