The slug I came across last year was slightly fatter, this one was waaaay longer.
It was in the same spot, could it be the same one? How long do slugs live? Am I the only one who finds slugs cute? I might be.

No, I can't say I think they are cute. They creep me out, being that slugs in Northern CA are like micro-minis compared to those beasts! That's one impressive slug who will remain cute unless he starts eating your garden ;-)
That's the longest slug I've ever seen!? Well aside from the ones in Starship Troopers, but I don't think those were real.
