Anyone who knows my dog (or reads this blog) knows about his obsession with cardboard. It gets really bad when he's on steroids (which he most often is these days), but usually it's pretty harmless stuff. He might disembowl the occasional roll of toilet paper, or gnaw on the edge of my moving boxes - forcing me to unpack, which is good. But every now and then... it gets personal.
I came home today to find this shipping tube on the floor:
As soon as I saw it, I knew what it was. I closed my eyes and sighed. "Aw, shit," I said. That tube contained one of my favorite art prints from Ork Posters that I've been waiting to frame and hang in my new-ish apartment. As I turned the corner into the kitchen I saw the remains of the carnage. That print now looks like this:
Gawd. It really is my fault for keeping it just within his reach, I know better, but couldn't he have gone for the paper towels? Oh well. I already ordered another one.

Dang it all!!
Bad dog...
Glad you were able to get a replacement.
Oh man!
Gotta love em ;-)
He's lucky he's cute!! :)
I totally have that poster. Honestly, I wouldn't get a new one—-if you're going to frame it anyway, at least this has a touch of Makai forever.
Shiiiiiit. Chris, that's SUCH a good idea, and I totally already threw it out. GAH!
