Nooooooooooooooooo!!! I have unwanted guests living with my luffas: APHIDS. I had noticed one leaf was looking a little shriveled on one of the plants, but I didn't take a closer look until this morning. I'm so annoyed!
Luckily they look like they are isolated to just the one plant for now. I'm going to try a little soapy water bath to MURDER them later today. Anyone have any other non-toxic aphid killing ideas?
In other luffa news, they seem to be taking to their new trellises very nicely! If I can just nip the aphids in the bud, I think we'll be back in fighting shape.
