Wayne White

Everyone knows how much I love a good thrifty makeover, so imagine my glee when I first saw some artwork by Wayne White. He takes old prints he finds in thrift stores and paints sassy little sayings right into the landscapes. Another one to file under, "Why the hell didn't I think of that first??"

Originally a set designer for shows like PeeWee's Playhouse and Beekman's World, you can really see that same bold mirthiness in his pieces. He's fun. I like it.
