Wot? Wot.



Oh I'm in heaven. There's a cute new children's show from New Zealand coming to the US called The WotWots. It's about two baby aliens who land their spaceship in a zoo and all the adventures they embark upon. It's being brought to us by the Weta Workshop, the same company that did the FX for Lord of the Rings and King Kong.

Yes, it's for preschoolers. No, I likely won't be sitting down to watch it. BUT, I want to acknowledge some obvious - yet solid - Jim Henson influence, which I'm always happy to see.

They actually remind me very much of the old school Twiddlebugs and the Yip Yip Aliens, both Henson creations from Sesame Street. I can't imagine that is an accident... but I like it!
