Stitch This

My first embroidery project was a nightmare. I was about seven years old, and my grubby little fingers turned all the brightly-colored thread into nice shades of blech. About halfway through I decided it was taking too long and I colored the rest of the design in with Crayola markers. Not the same!

I'd love to give it a try again. Sublime Stitching has a really nice selection of cute kits/patterns, lots of which are in the old school tattoo style, which I love.





I saw this little dress by Rock Steady and thought about how many plain things could be given a one-of-a-kind spin with a little embroidered sass action. So many possibilities...
