Yep, this is pretty gaudy. But I'm big on first instincts, and I did a little skip when I spotted it and then a little hop when I saw it was $5.99. Let's see where this one takes us.
I wonder where it originally came from? Maybe a hotel? A fancy two-story McDonalds? I have no idea. It's a heavy fiberglass cast, which I wasn't expecting when I picked it up. It's hand painted, but has a little chipping that will need some fixing. While I do live on the second floor I'm not yet convinced I won't be painting over that part with something else.
Hmmm. We'll see...
